Ingredients:
- 1 10 oz pkt pearl onions
- 1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup half-and-half
- 1 tbsp. all purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1/8 tsp. paprika/basil leaves
Method:
- Cook onions in boiling water to cover 1 mins; remove onions from water and plunge into ice water; peel.
- Arrange onions in a lightly greased baking dish and sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
- Combine half-and-half, flour, salt, pepper; stir well and pour over onions.
- Sprinkle with paprika/basil. Cover and bake at 300 F for 15 mins or until tender.
- Serve with a slotted spoon.
